A story of rebirth – Ferragamo New Renaissance

Ferragamo has collaborated with the Uffizi Gallery for its awe-inspiring A/W 2023 campaign, photographed by Tyler Mitchell.

The campaign features models posing against backdrops of the most iconic Renaissance artworks from the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, including Giovanni Bellini’s Holy Allegory, Giorgio Vasari’s Portrait of Alessandro de Medici, Paolo Veronese’s Annunciation, and Alesso Baldovinetti’s Annunciation.

Maximilian Davis’s innovative creative direction features a captivating narrative from a completely innovative perspective, where a fusion between the traditional aesthetics of the 15th and 16th centuries and contemporary elegance transcend time and push boundaries, seamlessly capturing the exquisite Italian reality in the contrasting experience of the present.

“The Renaissance is hardwired into Florence, and Florence is hardwired into Ferragamo. At this time of a new beginning at the house, it made perfect sense to reclaim the cradle of the Renaissance as our spiritual home, and to harness the deep, artistic spirit of this city to showcase the new collection.”
