Tate Modern recently announced The Infinities Commission, an annual initiative to support emerging artists from around the world who are pushing the boundaries of creativity. Selected artists have the opportunity to showcase their visionary and experimental work in The Tanks, London’s dedicated space for installation, performance and film. This exciting exhibition will be open to the public free of charge on an annual basis.
In spring 2025, The Tanks at Tate Modern will unveil the first commission for The Infinities Commission. The selection process will be led by a distinguished panel of experts in their respective fields in summer 2024. The panel includes renowned British artist and musician Brian Eno, who won a Wallpaper* Design Award for his work on Turntable and recently collaborated with U2 on their Las Vegas show. Other panel members include Senegalese and French critic and curator Oulimata Gueye, German artist Anne Imhof, Italian curator Andrea Lissoni (artistic director of Haus der Kunst in Munich) and Legacy Russell (executive director and chief curator of The Kitchen in New York).
