The Time Unlimited exhibition showcases Cartier’s enduring legacy in the art of watchmaking. It features some of Cartier’s most iconic timepieces, including the Santos de Cartier, the Baignoire, the Panthère de Cartier, the Ballon Bleu and the Tank. The exhibition also features the trendy Crash, first created in 1967 and the inspiration for the exhibition’s logo, which evokes Salvador Dalí’s famous melting clocks in The Persistence of Memory and adds a touch of sophistication. Beyond glamour and watchmaking, the exhibition aims to educate and celebrate the art and complexity of watchmaking.
Time Unlimited opens tomorrow, 7 December, and runs until 22 December. To coincide with the opening of the exhibition, Miami Art Week will host a pop-up space in the Design District to celebrate the presence of the exhibition.
