Vulnerability in Focus

Vulnerability in Focus

Jesse Glazzard’s latest photography exhibition at Saint Laurent Babylone, curated by Anthony Vaccarello, offers an intimate exploration of life, identity and transition. The show features over 40 images, many of which are self-portraits, documenting Glazzard’s personal journey over the course of three years. His work captures raw, vulnerable moments, blending portraiture and documentary to tell stories of transformation and self-discovery.

Accompanying the exhibition is a zine, Testo Diary, which explores these themes in greater depth and is available at the exhibition. Glazzard’s photographs, often shot in grainy black and white, reveal a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic that reflects his deep connection with his subjects. He emphasises the power of vulnerability, both in himself and in those he photographs, creating a sense of intimacy in each image.

The exhibition, which runs until September 8th in Paris and September 10th in Los Angeles, invites visitors to experience Glazzard’s unique perspective on life and identity. Through this project, Glazzard aims to highlight the beauty in the ordinary and the strength found in self-expression.
