Zara marks its 50th anniversary with a bold statement in the heart of Paris. From October 2nd to 5th, 2025, the Spanish retailer is opening a pop-up Paris store at 40 Avenue George V, just steps from Dior and Louis Vuitton. Curated by Sarah Andelman, founder of Colette, the space will host an exclusive program of design, fashion, and culture that highlights the brand’s enduring impact — and its vision for the future.
Zara limited edition collection: 50 creatives, 50 designs
At the center of the celebration is the Zara limited edition collection, a collaborative project that invited 50 of the brand’s closest friends and long-time collaborators to create one-of-a-kind objects. Each piece reflects the personal universe of its creator — from Linda Evangelista’s luxurious black cashmere robe and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s pink surfboard to Steven Meisel’s pet carrier and Cindy Crawford’s reimagined ’90s denim look. The lineup spans fashion, art, design, and film, with contributions from Annie Leibovitz, Pedro Almodóvar, Marc Newson, Rosalía, Kate Moss, and many more.
Every design is conceived as a collector’s item and will be available for purchase exclusively during the pop-up. Proceeds from sales will go to the Women’s Earth Alliance and other charities chosen by the participants, making the project both creative and philanthropic.
Pop-up in Paris: beyond shopping
Zara’s pop-up Paris store is designed as more than just a retail space. Alongside the collection, visitors will find immersive experiences including talks, installations, and a café curated by the acclaimed collective We Are Ona, with a soundtrack by Chanel’s music director Michel Gaubert. Andelman’s vision transforms the space into a cultural hub, where fashion collides with art, food, and design.
A new chapter for Zara
Since its founding in A Coruña in 1975, Zara has grown from a Spanish high-street shop into a global cultural force. With its 50th anniversary celebrations, the brand is not only looking back on five decades of style but also positioning itself firmly within the artistic and creative conversations of today. This Paris pop-up, with its blend of fashion, philanthropy, and cultural exchange, is both a birthday party and a declaration of intent.
As we count down to the opening of this extraordinary pop-up, we invite you to explore our exclusive interviews with the creative minds behind it. Sarah Andelman reflects on the lessons of art history, her passion for cross-disciplinary projects, and the enduring magic of print. Michel Gaubert, meanwhile, takes us inside his world of sound, sharing insights on decades of runway collaborations, the emotional resonance of music, and the role of technology in shaping fashion’s future.
