Oceanic Feelings

Oceanic Feelings

Fotografiska Stockholm presents Oceanic Feelings, an exhibition by Swedish choreographer and multidisciplinary artist Eli Eli, as part of Fotografiska’s Emerging Artist initiative. The project explores the impact of the climate crisis on the oceans, combining art and activism through a series of projections, textiles and photography.

Central to the exhibition are works from Eli Eli’s The Watersuit and Human Anatomy series, which invite viewers to reflect on the dissolution of the ego and the interconnectedness of all life. A standout piece is a giant pillow created in collaboration with students from the Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, which adds to the dreamy and symbolic atmosphere of the exhibition.

Eli Eli’s work is known for stimulating discussion, offering an experience that is both visually enchanting and deeply thought-provoking. The exhibition Oceanic Feelings is a powerful reminder of the urgent need for climate action, set within an artistic exploration of the most pressing issues facing our planet.
