Perrotin Seoul’s 10-year milestone exhibition highlights global talents

Now on view at Perrotin Seoul, 10 YEARS celebrates a decade of the gallery’s presence in the city and runs from March 17th to May 2nd, 2026. Featuring an international selection of artists including Daniel Arsham, Genesis Belanger, Maurizio Cattelan, Jean-Philippe Delhomme and GaHee Park, the exhibition reflects on ten years of artistic dialogue while looking ahead to the future of contemporary art in Seoul.

Conceived as a retrospective and a statement of intent, the exhibition showcases the diverse practices that have defined Perrotin Seoul since its opening in 2016. Over the past decade, the gallery has staged over 60 exhibitions, playing a pivotal role in establishing Seoul as a leading centre for contemporary art in Asia.

A notable presence at the exhibition is Daniel Arsham, who presents works based on his concept of Fictional Archaeology, in which everyday items such as cameras, telephones, and cultural artefacts are transformed into sculptures that resemble relics. Blurring the boundaries between the past, the present, and the future, his work explores how contemporary culture might be perceived as history.

Elsewhere, Takashi Murakami’s vibrant Superflat compositions merge traditional Japanese aesthetics with pop culture, while Maurizio Cattelan’s conceptual pieces bring irony and subversion to the exhibition’s narrative. The presentation is further enriched by Korean artists such as Park Seo-Bo, whose meditative abstractions reflect decades of artistic exploration, and Lee Bae, who is renowned for his charcoal-based creations.

In our interview, dive into the intimate world of GaHee Park and explore the themes of memory, religion and the shifting perception of time on canvas. Then, explore the ethics and aesthetics of art, its universality, and cross-cultural influences in our interview with Daniel Arsham.
